Detailed Description
Nothing fancy about this American-made drawknife from Peavey. The ferruled
hardwood handles are completely through-bolted to the blade for strength. The 13" long blade, which looks as if it might have had a former life as a truck leaf spring, is 1/4" thick x 2" wide. The edge comes roughly beveled on one side at 40°, but you can modify it to your personal preference. If you need a reasonably priced drawknife for real world use and not just to hang on a restaurant wall, this may be the one.
