Today under the careful guidance of the second generation of the Tommassini family, CMT produces exclusive router bits using only solid high quality steel bars for router bit shanks and premium grade tungsten carbide for cutting edges. CMT Router Bits are carefully sharpened on CMT's state-of-the-art CNC machines equipped with as many as 8 axis for maximum accuracy. CMT's specially formulated carbide means very fine grain, homogenous composition, creating exceptional durability and yielding more resharpenings for each router bit.
