Just about every home has a space that can be enhanced & improved with a custom built-in cabinet. Built-ins can serve as cabinets, bookshelves, entertainment centers, storage spaces or a combination of the all of the above. In this one day seminar, you will observe Kreg McMahon, owner of Kreg’s Custom Carpentry construct a custom built-in right onto a wall – in the same manner as you would do in your own home. Kreg will cover all the steps including design & planning, sheet good processing, joinery methods, adjustable shelf holes, design detail enhancements like trim fluting, and face frame cabinet door construction.
In this full day of construction instruction, you’ll learn plenty of tips and tricks to make your own built-in design and construction go smoothly. Kreg will use a range of tools in the class, but his focus will be on pocket hole joinery and hand power tools, with an approach that you don’t need an entire woodshop to create nice built-ins for your home. Though a demonstration seminar, there will be plenty times during the day for lending a participatory hand. So come with paper, pencil and a digital camera and get ready to soak up a heap of built-in building know-how.

Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Hardware 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than 10 days' notice.
For labor intensive or multiple day courses, we reserve the right to issue special refund stipulations which will be noted in the class advertisement at the time of posting.
