This intensive weekend class is especially designed by Sabiha to provide you with a solid foundation in wood shop safety and the proper use of hand and stationary power tools. You'll learn to operate a jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw and router and use joinery techniques that will employ rabbets, miters and dovetail splines; all made using various jigs as you create a multipurpose sliding-lid box. This class will provide you with the confidence and knowledge to know your way around shop tools, so you can get a jump start on your woodworking skills.

Please bring a tape measure and combination square to class

For your safety, when attending a hands-on class, be sure to wear closed toe footwear.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be issued in that event. Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Hardware 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund.
