Leigh's VRS Vacuum & Router Support for the Leigh Dovetails Jigs puts dust collection onto the jig, freeing your router from bulky hose connections. Along with dust collection, the VRS provides additional router support across the full width of the jig. Its thoughtful design moves up and down with the templates, so there's no repositioning as stock thickness changes. A collector chute slides effortlessly under the support for super-efficient dust removal directly at the source. Two controller arms straddle the base of any router, moving the collector chute as you slide your router. Each VRS comes complete with two adapters to fit all popular vacuum hose sizes from 1" to 2-1/2". Because the VRS is held in place by powerful rare earth magnets, it stays put during use, but comes off without tools (and even has a built-in hanger) when you want to flip or change templates. Made from aluminum and tough ABS plastic.

The 7-bit set for the Leigh D1600 Jig includes the following: 1/4" 8° dovetail bit, 5/16" 8° dovetail bit, 3/8" 8° dovetail bit, 7/16" 8° dovetail bit, 1/2" 10° dovetail bit, 1/2" 12° dovetail bit and 1/2" 18° dovetail bit. It complements the Leigh D1600 perfectly. With the seven bits in this set and the 3 bits that come with the jig, you are equipped to make any joint within the D1600's capabilities. All bits are 8mm shank. A 1/2" to 8mm collet adapter is included with the jig.
