Demonstration Seminar
In his own professional shop, Alan will demonstrate how the pros refinish and restore an antique piece of furniture to its former glory. He'll disassemble the piece, as needed, prep the wood surface for staining and colormatching, then choose and apply the finish most suitable. Alan will share some tricks of the trade about chemical strippers, fillers and surface prep. He'll then apply a controlled layered finish topped off with French polish. Note: The class will be held in Alan's shop, but students should report to Highland Woodworking and the class will carpool to his shop. Please arrive by 8:45am.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be issued in that event. Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Hardware 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than 10 days' notice.
