Auger Gimlet Set You don't have to be into hard core retro to appreciate these hand powered augers. They are lifesavers when you need to bore holes in hard-to-reach spots, to carefully sneak up on the proper depth, or to bore pilot holes for very short screws. The threaded tip pulls the gimlet along while the auger body pulls chips out. The 7 augers in this set range from 5/64" to a hair over 3/16" (2mm to 5mm), so they'll pilot drill for #2-9 screws.
