Auriou 6" Cranked Handle Drawknife

Auriou's high quality, hand-forged tools have pleased discriminating woodworkers for generations. This drawknife continues that tradition. The 6" long curved blade has a gentle radius and an effective blade angle that gives fast, controlled cutting. Turned 3-1/4" beech handles with brass ferrules are spaced 11-1/2" apart on center at the blade. The handles are offset approximately 1" from the blade splay out slightly (about 8 degrees) to aid in comforting your arms and shoulders when using for long periods. This drawknife comes honed and ready for use. Weighs .7 lbs.
