First Time Visit to Highland Woodworking

I was in the Atlanta vicinity today and asked my wife and granddaughter if they would mind if I visited your store. They agreed and it was an exciting day for us to say the least.
First off, we arrived a few minutes before opening. When the gate opened, my granddaughter and I were the first in. We were greeted by everyone who saw us come in. A refreshing change from all the rudeness and such in other places.
I was totally blown away by the layout of the store. Beautiful doesn't describe the displays. I was in tool heaven indeed.
I was routed upstairs by my granddaughter. First thing I saw were the scroll saw blades. #1 on my list of buys. Being a newbie to scrolling, I found the selections daunting. A young man came over and asked if I needed help. He is a new employee and did not know much about them but he went immediately and got someone who did. A very wonderful lady with an accent came over to help and was extremely knowledgable about the subject and helped me and gave me some excellent advice on blade selection and scrolling. All the time, the new employee stood there absorbing this info. Now he too knows more about it and can help others.
After staying upstairs for an eternity, I went downstairs and made a beeline for the heavyweights. SawStop and Rikon.
While drooling on the tablesaws, another fella came over (a former cabinet maker) and showed me some of the features of the saw.
Then we went over to the bandsaws. He gave me some excellent advice on blade selection, how to improve my cutting circles, and like all good salesmen, sold me a few items that I would have never purchased, or even thought of for that matter. That advice made a tremendous improvement in my cutting.
I must apologize for the length of this email, but I wanted to let you know, (as if you didn't), that you have a great store, wonderful staff, and an awesome atmosphere there...As ole Arnold would say; "I'LL BE BACK"!
Thank you,
Steve Eure
