The Kamal series of handplanes from India represents Anant's premium line of bench planes, spokeshaves and specialty planes. The Kamal spokeshaves replace the standard grey iron bodies with an almost indestructible malleable cast iron. Over-sized brass depth adjustment knobs, better machining and thick pressure plates refine the cutting ability of these spokeshaves. Blades are 2-1/16" wide; overall tool width is 9-3/4".
