The Kamal series of handplanes from India represents Anant's premium line of bench planes, spokeshaves and specialty planes. Based on the Stanley 60-1/2, the Kamal adjustable throat, low-angle block plane is bedded at 13-1/2°. A brass, cutter lock-nut puts positive downward pressure on the 1-3/8" wide x 5/64" thick blade. 7" long. A great tool for shooting end-grain, chamfering corners and a 1000 other jobs.
