Behlen Pure Tung Oil, Gallon

Pure tung oil, also called china wood oil, is the clearest finishing oil available. It does not darken with age, so it's ideal for use on light woods or woods which themselves darken over time. It's nontoxic when dry, so it's safe for use on food-contact surfaces & children's toys. It makes a moderately durable finish, resistant to most spills & stains, and easily spot repaired if necessary. Pure Tung is a fairly viscous, slow-drying oil which should be thinned with up to four parts mineral spirits or turps to one part oil, making it one of the most economical finishing oils available. A good choice for using in home-brew oil/varnish mixes.
