Briwax Hydrocote Water Based Wood Dyes are manufactured using the same range of high quality, lightfast dyestuffs offering the user the same colors in either type. Surfaces for staining should be sanded as smooth as possible prior to staining. Apply the dye directly by rag to bare wood. Work the color over the surface, ensuring an even distribution of color. Do not pour dye onto the surface, as this may cause a darker area which may prove difficult to remove. Allow to dry completely before starting the next stage of the finish.
