Dave Hout developed his bowl skews to make smooth finshing cuts on bowls. When shearing with a Hout bowl skew, you can almost eliminate sanding. The Shallow Bowl Skew is recommended for bowls up to 6" in diameter. For larger bowls see, the Deep Bowl Skew (143113).
