Engraved Japanese Hammer, 115g (4 oz.)

These extraordinarily beautiful steel hammers have been copper plated and engraved on both sides of the head with figures of mythical beasts decorated with gold plated eye accents. One face is slightly belled, the other flat. Both are hardened for use on chisels, plane irons, nails and joints. Thin, strong white oak handles are 11" and 12" long on the small and large hammers respectively.
