Fan Back Windsor Chair Plan

This is Mike Dunbar'spersonal chair. It is a large chair with good proportions and is very comfortable to sit in. The crest is steam bent using a form. This design has its origins in the coastal area of Massachusetts. In this design the back spindles are turned and are tenoned into the arms which gives the chair great strength.
