Forest City Brad Point Drill Bit, 9/16"

Unlike conventional brad points whose cutting edges are ground to a triangular point which rips at the wood, these bits feature two knife-edged spurs which cleanly incise the perimeter of the hole before waste is pared away by the straight-faced flutes. Bits are easily resharpened with an auger-bit file. Not for use on metals. 6" long with 1/2" shank.
