This 4-1/4" diameter x 1/4" thick polycarbonate guard mounts (using the included hardware) to the hole in the insert ring of your Rousseau router base plate. Use the mounting stud as a starter pin when you route freehand and the guard will keep chips away from your face and your fingers away from the spinning bit.
