For years we've suggested that the best possible applicators for wipe-on finishes are made from cotton sheets so old & soft your foot goes through them when you climb into bed. Now, however, we've discovered a cloth at least that good--maybe better, since you don't have to wait for your sheets to age. The Highland Pad is a pre-washed, lint-free, 4-ply, 10" x 10" all cotton pad with edges tucked & sewn for the cleanest, smoothest finishing possible. These pads lay down oils, stains or gels ideally, flowing on thin coats that go on evenly and dry rapidly. They load well, letting you cover large areas at one go, and remove excess material as you finish the job. They even have a sewn-in hang-up loop for safe drying. Try 'em! You'll like them.
