The Ice Bear 10,000 grit polishing stone hones tools to a level of fineness formerly achievable only with automotive rubbing compounds or diamond paste. On the scale used to measure particle size in Japanese waterstones, 10,000 works out to less than a micron! Use it like our other polishing stones—splash on some water, work up a paste with the included nagura stone, and go to work. For the finest posible polish, let the surface of the stone "run dry" for the last few strokes. Comes mounted on a wood base; stone size is a generous 1" x 3" x 8-1/8".
