Modeled on 19th century joinery saws, these are the best you can buy for dovetailing & carcass joinery. Beveled brass backs lend perfect heft and stiffness, so they cut with virtually no added pressure from you. Generously proportioned handles are available in curly maple or rosewood. The Dovetail Saw has 15 tpi filed to a rip profile, set only .003" either way, taking a kerf less than 1/32" and making an extremely smooth, easy cut. The blade is 9" x 1-5/8" to the back; overall it's 14" x 2-3/8". Each saw comes with use and maintenance tips.
