This set has the same great steel & socket design as the Lie-Nielsen Bevel Edge Chisels (134020) but have their sides ground parallel. They are taller to give more heft and guidance to the tool when cutting mortises. Designed for furniture mortising as opposed to timber framing, these 9-1/2" long chisels are nicely balanced and a pleasure to hold. The set includes 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" wide chisels with hornbeam handles and a 7-pocket leather tool roll.
