Magswitch Hanging Hooks use an ingenious rare earth magnetic switch device to tenaciously attach themselves to any flat or round cast iron / steel surface. In the off position, the polarities of stacked magnets oppose each other eliminating magnetism. Rotate the switch to the on position, and the magnets align and create magnetic force.

The Gorilla Hook has tremendous holding power as well as a great amount of shear force of holding strength to reduce sideways movement. It has a breakaway rating on 1/4” thick steel of 215 lbs. with a maximum safety-rated hold weight of 40 lbs.* As a safety measure, a quick release pin allows the twist- handle switch/hanger hook to be removed from the body of the magnet for minimizing accidental activation/deactivation of the magnet. The Gorilla Hook is 4” high with a diameter of 2-11/16”.
