Our 7mm Maxi-Mandrel features a sliding shaft attached to the Morse taper through a collet. This allows you to adjust the length of the shaft to different size projects instead of stacking bushings to fill the extra length. Another advantage is that shorter shafts are less prone to flexing, and this shaft will never have to be longer than absolutely necessary.
