The great advantage to Oneway's new Wolverine flat tool jig is that you can grind a new bevel on a tool and then hone it on a flat stone at precisely the angle you want without taking the blade out of the jig! The solid steel tool holder securely grips plane irons or chisels up to 2-1/2" wide (must be about 3-1/2" long to clear tool holder). The support arm sets the angle at which the grinding wheel addresses your tool, while allowing freedom of movement so you can control pressure and move the jig back and forth across the wheel easily. Once grinding is done, just slide the rolling jig off the support arm and move over to your stones! The jig's two roller bearings straddle the stone (you supply a mounting board for the stones, instructions included) so you can use the entire length of the stone, unlike most other jigs. This system can be installed on most 6" or 8" bench grinders (instructions included).
