Using the wood of your choosing, turn a unique Scratch Awl that you will be proud to use and show off!
The kit includes a stainless steel pointed shaft (4-1/2" exposed), polished brass front cap and end cap, threaded couplings and inner tube. You will need to provide a wood blank 1-1/2" to 2" square x 3" long for the handle. Overall tool length is 8".
Also required is a 7mm drill bit, 7mm pen mandrel, 7mm bushings and a lathe with a tailstock live center. Instructions included.
Note: Our Maxi-Mandrel w/Drill Bit includes 7mm drill bit and bushings.
