Hang out at Highland Woodworking for a while and you'll notice we love our utility knives. For those of you who have a thing for the snap-blade type, we may have found your holy relic. It has a solid aluminum housing with a rubberized grip that is large enough to operate with gloved hands. It weighs in at nearly 12 oz. The extra thick blades are 1" wide, 5" long and are loaded and removed with a push of a button. When you're done with a blade, a spring-loaded magazine feeds another one up and locks it into the thumb advance. The magazine holds up to 5 blades (4 included). Each blade has 7 segments. The segments break off a with a pair of pliers to expose the next sharp section. It's a snap! 7-1/2" overall length.
