Veritas Bar Gauge Heads

This simple hardware lets you make a surprisingly useful measuring tool. It's nothing fancier than a wooden beam with adjustable length; you'll use it for very accurate measurement transfer, eliminating memory and arithmetic errors, and for comparing diagonal measurements when verifying squareness of drawers, carcases & frames. You supply the wood: two 1/4" x 3/4" pieces in the length that suits your work.
