Their simple but functional design makes these dogs very easy to build in or retrofit into any bench. Boring a simple 3/4" hole vertically through the bench surface is the only installation work required. Pups (at right in photo) are 2-1/4" long, with friction springs to make them usable in any benchtop 2" thick or less. 5° undercut face grips securely, and can be rotated as needed to hold stock that isn't square.
