The Wixey Saw Fence Digital Readout gives you accurate distance readings from either side of your tablesaw's blade, and can be mounted on either side of the fence. It displays measurements in metric, standard decimals and fractions large enough to actually see them. It zeros at a touch of a button, so you can calibrate it for different blades or auxiliary fences and jigs. Because it attaches to a mounting bracket with a rare earth magnet, you can remove your fence without losing calibration, making it a valuable tool for cut lists and repeat settings for production runs. Accurate to +/- .002 in. per foot.

Although it's designed to work on commercial Biesemeyer fences and copies, the Digital Readout will mount to other fences as well with some modifications. You may be required to grind, file, hacksaw, bend and/or drill various components. For instance, on our shop's Biesemeyer Home Shop fence, we had to grind away a part of the mounting bracket and drill several holes in the front steel rail. Installation takes between 1 and 2 hours. Detailed instructions are included. We recommend clamping the sensor rail to your saw's fence rails before drilling any holes to make sure things line up.
