Hands-On Workshop
"Cheap" store-bought frames are flimsy and expensive and not so cheap. Quality store-bought frames are expensive. What if you want just a plain, simple frame made out of wood? Jim shows you how to make a simple, study frame that will look fine in a Modernist, Art & Crafts, or Shaker-Inspired interior. With a simple router jig, you'll cut a robust lap miter joint. You'll assemble the frame in class and take it home where the matting, glazing and hanging are up to you.
