CA Glue

Our line of powerful, nearly instant CA (cyanoacrylate) adhesives offers both superb quality and outstanding prices. These "super" glues are triple distilled to a level of purity that guarantees long shelf life and permanent bonding power for virtually any material in the shop, and they're sold in quantities that meet the needs of occasional users as well as full-time fans. These non-toxic adhesives are perfect for a host of household uses, such as repairing broken glassware and ceramics, reattaching keyboard keys, building models, salvaging favorite toys and so on. They're dishwasher and microwave safe.

Woodturners have long been enthusiastic users of CA glues for stopping and filling hairline cracks, bonding bark, mounting blanks on wooden chucks, making instant wood dust filler, reinforcing punky areas and even using them as flash-dry wiping finishes. Cabinetmakers too are increasingly drawn to the usefulness of high quality CA glue.

Thin formula (3-10 seconds cure) is the best choice for non-porous materials, penetrating deeply to stop hairline cracks in wood. Medium (8-15 sec.) and Thick (10-25 sec.) CAs can be used to bond wood permanently with just a few seconds hand pressure instead of clamping; imagine a rub joint that reaches 90% strength in less than 30 seconds! Repairs have never been easier. Use a spritz of Activator on one part to accelerate cure time to just a few seconds, and you can plane or sand out the repair as soon as you can bring the tool to the wood. Activator is sold in fingertip pump bottles or a new spray can for precise, controlled delivery.

A couple of new formulations make our CA glues the most versatile on the market. Gel formula (15-30 sec.) is as thick as paste, completely immune to runs & drips even on vertical or inverted surfaces. Flexible formula (8-20 sec) is perfect for joining dissimilar materials—wooden barrels & metal pen parts, for instance. We recommend you keep a bottle of Debonder solvent on hand when using CA glues; they glue fingers faster than anything else. Clogged tips are common with CA glues, but our Change-a-Tip pack makes that problem irrelevant. It includes 4 pairs of disposable tips with different orifices to suit any job. If one clogs, just pop it off and install a fresh tip.
