Carnauba Wax is hardest of natural vegetable waxes provides the toughest, highest-sheen polish you can buy. We sell carnauba in flake form, ready for blending or forming into solid blocks. Carnauba can be softened with turpentine and blended with softer waxes such as beeswax to make it easy to apply. It can also be melted at about 185° F (use a double-boiler arrangement) and molded into small blocks or sticks, which you apply directly to turned objects on the lathe, where friction softens the wax enough to spread very thinly. Then buff it to an intense gloss with great durability.
