Council 1-3/4 lb Hudson Bay Camp Axe - Short Handle
The Hudson Bay Camp Axe is a one handed axe used for light splitting and chopping. The pattern is thought to have originated in south France or northern Spain. Axes of this pattern were used by French fur traders in the Hudson Bay area. The forged steel head and hickory handle are made in America. The cutting edge is treated to Rc 48-55.
