Cross Slide Drill Press Vise

Similar to a machinist's milling vise, this woodworker's fixture lets you hold small to medium workpieces securely on your drill press table and position them accurately under your bit. 4" jaws (1-7/16" deep) open to 3-3/4" maximum. Longitudinal travel is 6", and cross travel is 4". This means that once you've clamped an item in the vise, you can pinpoint a bit anywhere within a 24 square inch area on the item's surface without having to reposition the vise base on your drill press table. Adjustable gibs built into the cast iron body let you tune the action as precisely as you like. Weighs 20.5 lbs.
