Crown Matched Skew Chisel Set, 3/4"

Reaching into corners to finish a joint or lift squeeze-out, scribing or deepening layout lines, paring next to perpendicular surfaces, making slicing cuts to trim end grain flushthese are all common chores that can be challenging with ordinary straight bench chisels. Skew chisels, on the other hand, are expressly made for the purpose.

These beautiful skews by Crown Tools, Sheffield, have polished 3/4" bevel-edge blades which are 6-1/2" long for superb reach. Brass-ferruled plantation grown rosewood handles are 5-1/2" long for comfortable, secure, full hand grip. Blades are skewed across the front at 35°, perfect for access into tight corners, and for making silky smooth shearing cuts.
