Dual-Use Hand Tool Sharpening Jig

Here's an ingenious update on our familiar hand tool grinding jig. A removable roller attachment now lets you use this one inexpensive jig to grind tools on your bench grinder or Makita 9820-2, then hone them by hand with perfect angle control. The brass roller is 1-1/2" wide, ideal for use on waterstones as well as sandpaper and leather strops. The jig holds plane irons, chisels or skews up to 2-5/8" wide & 7/16" thick. Bevel angle is determined by how far the tool protrudes beyond the front of the jig. A simple jig that handles everything from grinding to sharpening to stropping is a heck of a deal, and at this price it's a flat-out bargain, too.
