Easy Chuck by Easy Wood Tools
After rocking the world of woodturning with his innovative Easy Wood Tools a few years
ago, Craig Jackson has now done the same thing with his new Easy Chuck for wood turners.
Not satisfied with things being done "the old way," Craig has invented two awesome new
features for his Easy Chuck, and implemented them in his usual "Made in the USA" fashion.
Zoom Ring - Instant finger-tip opening and closing
The Easy Chuck's Zoom Ring (patent pending) gives you the ability to open and close the chuck
very quickly for various gripping diameters with just your fingertips. Use the Zoom Ring
to bring the jaws into position to lightly grab your project, then use the supplied chuck
key for final tightening.
Easy Jaw System - Change out jaw sets in less than 30 seconds!
The Easy Jaw System allows you to change from one set of jaws to the next set in
about 30 seconds. The patent pending Snap-Lock Technology uses no jaw screws or wrenches
to exchange jaws. You simply use the supplied Jam Key to depress a keeper latch in the
jaw and slide each jaw right out. You then slide in the next jaw type until you hear the
cool sounding "Snap". This gets you back to turning quickly with the jaws you need for
hanging onto your workpiece securely.
The Easy Chuck also offers these additional unique features:
Strongest Jaw Design - Easy Jaws are held in place by the chuck body, not
screws that are susceptible to shearing.
Safety Corners - Rounded corners of the Easy Jaws reduce chance of injury to knuckles.
Durable Components - Easy Jaw components are hardened and corrosion resistant
for extreme durability.
Included with the Easy Chuck are the only two tools
you'll ever need for operating it:
Jaw Key, a 1/8" ball end hex driver used for both jaw release and spindle set screws.
Chuck Key, a 5/16" hex T-handle used for final jaw tightening.
The Easy Chuck comes with a two-year factory parts and labor warranty against
defects in materials or workmanship.
