Easy Wood Tools Easy Hollower

Easy Wood Hollowing Tool, why so easy? When using round shank tools, the turner's attention must stay constantly focused on precisely positioning the tool's bevel edge by turning, twisting and rolling the tool handle. In contrast, the flat shank of the Easy Hollower allows the tool to always ride dead flat on the tool rest. When cutting, the tools handle is kept parallel to the floor & the cutter is simply moved straight into the work. This easy technique is a boon to beginning turners or turners that have struggled with standard turning tools & techniques.

The Easy Hollower has a wide steel shank to stabilize it during hollowing. It uses the same carbide Ci3 Round cutter as the Mini and Midi Finishing tool. It is great for hollowing vessels up to 5" in diameter.

It has a 1/2" x 1" x 9 1/2" long shank mounted in a 16" Easy Grip Handle. Overall length 25-1/2".
