While only 11" long, its recurved, laminated birch handle provides maximum chopping power and comfort. The relieved head shape lets you grab it like a knife for carving, skinning or aggressive letter opening. The 440C stainless steel head nicely balances corrosion resistance with the ability to take and hold an edge. A rolled steel pin and hex setscrew insures the head stays on the handle. Even the leather sheath is thoughtfully designed with a swivel belt loop and two sturdy snap closures.
