Forest City Brad Point Drill Bit, 1/8"

Unlike conventional brad points whose cutting edges are ground to a triangular point which rips at the wood, these bits feature two knife-edged spurs which cleanly incise the perimeter of the hole before waste is pared away by the straight-faced flutes. Bits are easily resharpened with an auger-bit file. Not for use on metals.


Available in 7 sizes from 1/8" to 1/2" in increments of 1/16", or as a set of all 7. 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" bits have 3/8" shanks. 1/8" bit is 2-7/8" long, 3/16" bit is 3-1/2" long; all others are 4-3/8".
