Demonstration Workshop
How "Form follows function" is at the core of this design workshop. Charles will explore the design of rocking chairs and in particular the Sam Maloof style rocker. He will analyze the sculptural elements of the chair and how they work together to make a classic work of functional art that appears to be moving even when still. He will compare and contrast Maloof's chair with his own and those of other Maloof inspired chairmakers. This is a great way to start a weekend devoted to building a Maloof inspired rocker.(Friday night class is included for those enrolled in Charles' weekend class)

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be issued in that event. Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Hardware 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than 10 days' notice.
