Class Size: 12
Demonstration Seminar
Many households have a piece or two of furniture needing some minor repair and/or touch up. Most people don't realize there are many common furniture repairs that can easily be accomplished utilizing tools that are found in most homes. Alan Noel, with over 25 years experience repairing and restoring furniture, will share his tips and techniques on how to fix many everyday furniture problems. Topics include touching up simple imperfections like dents and dings, securing loose joints and the more involved tasks like veneer repair. Feel free to bring along a small, lightweight piece of furniture (or a photo) for inspection by Alan and as a topic of discussion for the class.
This class will be held in Alan's shop, a short drive from our store, but students should first report to Highland Woodworking to confirm registration. Please arrive by 8.45am.
