Detailed Description
Herringbone Bowl Plan The herringbone design in this bowl is produced by alternating ash and wenge angled segments in the design ring construction. The Herringbone Bowl Plan is a moderately difficult but satisfying project to embark on for the intermediate to experienced woodturner. The Bowl Kit plan includes a color reproduction, detailed drawings, descriptions and a scaled template for turning. The process of using compound laminations and the techniques involved using solid-block and slant-line segments are explored. Tools needed include lathe, sander, bandsaw and clamps. Finished bowl measures 8" in diameter and 5.5" tall.
