Shopping Cart Help

BUY button does not work

If you are experiencing difficulty placing items into your shopping cart, it may be because your internet browser is not allowing "cookies" to be written to your computer. Firewall software, virus programs, security upgrades, and some pop-up blockers are set to block cookies when they are installed.

What are cookies? Cookies are bits of information created by websites that are stored on your computer in the form of a very small text file. Most internet shopping carts use cookies to keep track of user information during the shopping process. When you block cookies, you block the ability for your browser to store any information, including what you have just put into your cart. Some very large sites store your shopping information on their servers rather than on your computer, so you may have been able to use their carts with no problem. If you shop around with your cookies blocked, you may find shopping cart use limited.

Internet Explorer Users

  1. From the IE Tools menu, choose “Internet Options”
  2. Click the Security Tab at the top
  3. Click the “Custom Level…” button
  4. Click the Enable button in the Cookies section, which is located about 1/3 of the way down the list
  5. Click “OK”
  6. You may need to close IE and reopen it to activate your changes

Netscape Users

  1. From the Netscape Edit menu, choose “Preferences"
  2. Click the “Advanced” category
  3. Choose “Cookies” from the list that appears
  4. Choose one of the Enable/Accept options
  5. Click “OK”
  6. You may need to close Netscape and reopen it to activate you changes

If you choose not to accept Cookies, you will still be able to browse our site, but you will not have complete access to our shopping cart services. If so, please call us at 800-241-6748 to place you order.

Items disappear at Checkout

Internet Explorer users, if items in your shopping cart disappear once you enter the "Checkout" phase, your browser may be experiencing a security conflict with the shopping cart cookies.

IE 8 users, switch your program settings to "Compatibility Mode" and this will fix the issue.
