Marquetry is the art of using different colors of carefully cut and precisely fitted wood veneers to create designs in a single veneer sheet. This "picture" sheet is then applied to the project at hand. Jane will discuss how to create designs and select veneers most suited for marquetry and will show you how to apply the designs to your project. She will also discuss selecting and applying finishes appropriate for marquetry. You will make a small project that will incorporate most of the basic cutting and gluing techniques required to do any marquetry project.

Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be issued in that event. Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Woodworking 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than 10 days' notice.
