Iturra 2-1/2" Bandsaw Spring for Delta Bandsaws

Built into the upper wheel assembly on your bandsaw is a compression spring whose job is to cushion against sudden shock or increased tension if & when the blade bows within a cut. On older saws, this spring may be so fatigued from a lifetime of compression that it limits maximum blade tension and provides inadequate shock absorption as well. This High Tension Spring for 14" bandsaws is made fom high strength chrome-vanadium alloy flat stock, coiled and milled flat on the ends for outstanding performance and durability. First get a Quick-Crank for your saw so you can realistically expect to release blade tension every day. Then replace your old spring with our high tension spring, and you'll never need to think about it again. The spring length is 2-1/2". The outside diameter is 3/4" and the inside diameter is 13/32".
