Iyoroi Cabinetmaker's Chisels, Set of Six

Japanese Iyoroi handmade Cabinetmaker's Chisels feature "white steel" laminated-blade design for superb sharpening and edge-holding characteristics. A layer of high-carbon steel hardened to Rockwell c65 along its full length provides an extremely hard, long-wearing cutting edge. The bulk of the blade is lower-carbon steel tempered for tough, shatterproof resilience. At 11-3/4" overall, these chisels are long enough for a comfortable full-fisted grip. Bolstered tang and heavy steel ferrule at the butt allow use of mallet or hammer for heavy work. Set of six includes 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 24mm chisels.
