Leigh R9plus Joinery System

Leigh's long history of innovation and exceptional quality for creating router jigs for woodworkers to route sophisticated and beautiful joinery continues with their R9Plus Joinery System. Using a precision CNC machined template partnered with new template positioning technology, the R9Plus will let you quickly route accurate through dovetails and box joints on boards of any width. Thanks to the included Leigh e10 guide bush, your joints are guaranteed a perfect fit, with precise repeatability.

With the R9Plus (and optional router bits) you can make 3 sizes of through dovetails (pin widths 3/8", 7/16" & 1/2") in stock up to 13/16" thick and 3 sizes of box joints, 3/16", 3/18" & 3/4" in stock up to 1" thick. The template is mounted on a backing beam you make yourself, as well as a replaceable backer board that eliminates tear out. The R9Plus template is designed to be used with a stand alone router (bench mode) or on your router table.

The R9Plus is a terrific value for woodworkers on a budget who need to cut dovetails and box joints with speed, precision and Leigh Jig reliability.
