Lie-Nielsen Bevel Edge Socket Chisels Set of 5 with Tool Roll

What can we say that hasn't already been said about Lie-Nielsen chisels? Based in form on Stanley's legendary 750 socket chisels, they are made of cryogenically treated A-2 tool steel. Basically what that means is they will take and hold a very fine edge without being brittle which is quite difficult to achieve. The beveled edges are ground closed to the back of the tool, so they won't crush the inside corners of dovetails. Shock resistant hornbeam handles fill the sockets and are easily replaced should they ever need to be. Note: Due to shrinkage the handles may be loose when you receive them. Just tap them with a mallet to reseat them.

We feel these tools represent the best of western style bench chisels available and they are an excellent value considering the high level of quality. The set includes 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" wide chisels at 9" long with a 7-pocket leather tool roll.
